Kékfrankos is the most widely planted red grape variety in Hungary as well as in Szekszárd where one out of three vines is kékfrankos. There is a good reason for that: this is a variety that does not let you down even in difficult vintages. It is also a variety that lends itself to many different interpretations and provides excellent results as rose, schiller or red on its own or in blends....

The climate of Szekszárd is best suited to the production of red wines so there is much more red grape planted than whites. Besides the mostly light white wines special mention must be made of the rosé and siller wines which are particularly important from the viewpoint of local tourism and gastronomy....
