Our family has been growing grapes and making wine since the 18th century. Since 1996 the family business has been run by the three of us: Ferenc Takler Winemaker of the Year 2004 and his two sons, András and Ferenc Jr. who is also the winemaker. We farm 70 hectares of vineyards in some of the best plots of the wine region. Besides the international varieties kékfrankos and Szekszárd Bull’s Blood play an important role in our range of wines. We want to produce wines that are substantial, balanced, true to their variety and dynamic even at the top end of our range.
At the Takler Kúria besides the wines we are offering top quality and complex entertainment (accomodation, wellness services, restaurant, social hall) to guests interested in wines and the romantic countryside.
